On Tuesday, February 9, 1402, from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, a joint session was held to explore the common areas of collaboration between the delegates of University of Technology and the Faculty of Physics at Kharazmi University. Esteemed faculty members from both universities participated in this session, which took place in the meeting hall of Kharazmi University’s Faculty of Physics.
At the beginning of the session, Prof. Majlesara, the respected dean of the Faculty of Physics, warmly welcomed the Iraqi delegation and provided a concise report on the status of the Faculty and its relevant departments. Subsequently, Dr. Heydari, a distinguished member of the Atomic and Molecular Physics group, presented a documented overview of their colleagues’ work and specific research areas, which was well-received by the representatives from University of Technology.
During this meeting, after exchanging views on their respective areas of interest, several agreements were reached. These agreements spanned research areas, including joint research projects, development of laboratory tools, support for theses and dissertations, co-supervision of students, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences. The session also emphasized educational aspects such as the 2+2 master’s and doctoral programs. Also, the formation of specialized working groups across various domains was discussed to explore collaboration conditions in research projects. These projects cover topics such as photovoltaic solar cells, dual-axis solar tracking systems, photo-enhanced cancer therapy methods using incremental nanoparticles, supercapacitors, high-entropy materials, liquid crystal hydrodynamics, photonic chip laboratories, optical catalysts, optical sensors, and quantum dot nanoparticles.
This collaboration aims to enhance scientific cooperation and foster meaningful academic interactions between the two institutions.
