Collecting scientific and educational resources and disseminating information in order to strengthen the educational and research programs of the Khwarazmi University family is one of the strategic goals of the central library, museum and document center.
Duties of the central library, museum and documentation center 
• Organization of collected information sources;
• Informing the activities of the central library, museum and document center in different ways;
• Participation in national plans for informing and sharing resources;
• Mechanizing library activities to speed up information storage and retrieval;
• Creating suitable grounds for participation in international information systems;
• Training of visitors in order to correctly and optimally use the collection of the central library, museum and document center;
Collecting and documenting objects, works, visual and audio documents, written sources and oral narratives related to the history and activities of Kharazmi University;
Maintenance and protection of material works and the values hidden in these works and scientific, educational and research heritage (obtained from the experience and prestige of the university in the scientific and educational community of the country);
Introducing, offering and displaying works and documents collected permanently and periodically;
Continuous research on various aspects of collected works and documents to recognize and introduce them;
• Holding educational events in accordance with the educational goals and missions of the university.
